Communities in Southeast Ohio are receiving more than $11.2 million in low-interest rate and principal forgiveness funding from Ohio EPA to improve wastewater and drinking water infrastructure and make other water quality improvements. The loans were approved between April 1 and June 30, 2021. Lower interest rates and principal forgiveness will save these communities more than $12.1 million.

Ohio EPA Grants $480,000 for Recycling and Litter Prevention to Southeast Ohio
Ohio EPA is awarding more than $480,000 this year in grants to 15 local governments, businesses, and nonprofit organizations throughout southeast Ohio to implement recycling, litter prevention, market development, and scrap tire recycling programs. Statewide, the Agency is issuing more than $6 million in grant funding to 103 recipients, with more than $3.1 million specifically for community and litter prevention grants.
