Technical Assistance Resources for Pollution Prevention (TARP2)What is TARP2?Technical Assistance Resources for Pollution Prevention (TARP2) is a resource tool designed by the Office of Pollution Prevention (OPP) within the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency. TARP2 is designed to provide an extensive listing of the resources available to OPP in researching pollution prevention (P2) opportunities. While the target audience for TARP2 is OPP, other organizations and individuals interested in P2 are encouraged to utilize TARP2. TARP2 is ideal for people who are relatively new to the web. It is a quick and easy way to become aquainted with the major P2 sites on the net. The Web resources in TARP2 are predominantly P2 oriented. However, Web sites related to the concepts inherent to P2, such as sustainable development and renewable energy, are also included in these resources. One will also find Web sites for various federal and state government agencies, "green" businesses, and more. Employees of Ohio EPA's Office of Pollution Prevention select the sites for TARP2 that they use the course of their work. The sites that they use most often are listed under TARP2s "Top P2 Sites". Please be aware that WWW sites are evolving and changing rapidly. Thus, the URLs (the access "addresses") frequently change. In the event that a URL is incorrect and/or invalid, it is recommended that you use one of the WWW search engines to locate the correct site.
