Continuing Municipal Storm Water Education
U.S. EPA Webcast Workshops

By May 2008 your community is required to have a fully-operational Municipal Storm Water Management Program. This requires your community to provide education to its citizens, businesses and employees on storm water issues, provide opportunities for public involvement, have a program to proactively identify and eliminate illicit discharges to the storm sewer system, review plans for construction and post-construction runoff control, inspect new development sites for compliance with those plans and implement pollution prevention practices at municipal operations.

With the help of other regulatory agencies, and community educational and nonprofit organizations, Ohio EPA hosted a series of six workshops starting in September 2007 and ending in March 2008. In an effort to continuing helping MS-4 communities to comply, Ohio EPA has arranged to show four US EPA webcasts at the Twinsburg Library, located at 10050 Ravenna Road, Twinsburg Ohio 44087.

US EPA broadcasts the webcasts from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. The webcasts will be followed by a short break and one hour round table discussion of the material presented in the web cast. The workshop will end at 3:15 p.m.
