In the paste the Office of Compliance Assistance and Pollution Prevention, (as the Small Business Assistance Office) published a quarterly newsletter, The Small Business Resource, which was distributed to about 3,500 small business owners in Central Ohio.

In each newsletter, highlighted different environmental regulations that may apply to small businesses.  In each issue, also highlighted changes in regulations and announce the availability of new resources within Ohio EPA that may be helpful to small business owners.

Beginning in 2001, special edition newsletters were published periodically for specific small businesses, such as auto service shops and dry cleaners.  Each article in the newsletter is related to compliance issues for that specific business sector.
