Permits to Install and Plan Approvals for Water Pollution Control (OAC 3745-42)

The draft rules are available below. Notice has been sent out for interested party review. After considering comments and making changes, if necessary, to the rules, a public hearing and another public comment period will be scheduled in early 2010.

Background

At this time the Agency is soliciting comments on draft rules addressing the application requirements and criteria for decision by the director for the issuance of wastewater permits to install (PTI). A new rule is also included in this review, which expands on the meaning of best available technology as used in the current PTI rules.
