Permits to Install and Plan Approvals for Water Pollution Control (OAC 3745-42)Comment deadline - 5:00 p.m. on
September 2, 2008 BackgroundAt this time the Agency is soliciting comments on draft rules addressing administrative and technical requirements for obtaining a wastewater Permit to Install (PTI). This rule package consists of five rescinded rules and four new rules in Ohio Administrative Code (OAC) Chapter 3745-42. The changes being considered include formatting changes to make the rules easier to understand, adding isolation distance requirements to ensure adequate setbacks are maintained from waters of the state, removing requirements on the use of filter sand, and adding restrictions on the approvals for sewage holding tanks. See the fact sheet below for more information on the changes being considered. For more information about Permits to Install and Plan Approvals for Water Pollution Control, visit the Wastewater Permit to Install (PTI) Program Web page.
