Ohio EPA has issued a final renewal of the general National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit that may potentially provide coverage to discharges from petroleum corrective actions in the state of Ohio.

This permit is a renewal of coverage for dischargers under the following permits:

  • OHU000002 (PDF 131K) - coverage granted prior to January 1, 2005 and
  • OHU000003 - coverage granted after January 1, 2005 (a modification of the OHU000002 permit)

Those permittees currently covered by permits OHU000002 and OHU000003 need to apply for renewal coverage. To maintain coverage under this general permit, we must have received your renewal Notice-of-Intent by February 15, 2006. See the letter to general permit holders (PDF 55K) for more information.
