Ohio EPA reached a settlement with Silgan Can Company for past hazardous waste violations and issued an administrative consent order on February 10, 2012.  The violations occurred at the Silgan Can Company’s facility located at 12-773 State Route 110, Napoleon, Ohio.  The settlement includes a $14,160.00 penalty of which $11,328.00 will be deposited into the state's hazardous waste cleanup fund.  The remaining $2,832.00 of the penalty will be paid to the Ohio EPA Clean Diesel School Bus Program. 

Erieview Metal Treating Company

Ohio EPA reached a settlement with Erieview Metal Treating Company for past hazardous waste violations and issued an administrative consent order on February 7, 2012. The violations occurred at the Erieview Metal Treating Company facility located at 4465 Johnston Parkway, Cleveland, Ohio. The settlement includes a $50,000.00 penalty of which $40,000.00 will be deposited into the state's hazardous waste cleanup fund, and $10,000.00 will be paid to the Ohio EPA Clean Diesel School Bus Program.

Warren Fabrication Corporation

Ohio EPA reached a settlement with Warren Fabrication Corporation for past hazardous waste violations and issued an administrative consent order on March 21, 2012.  The violations occurred at the Warren Fabrication Corporation facility located at 7845 Chestnut Ridge Road, Hubbard, Ohio.  The settlement includes a $26,000.00 penalty of which $20,800.00 will be deposited into the state's hazardous waste cleanup fund.  The remaining $5,200.00 of the penalty will be paid to the Ohio EPA Clean Diesel School Bus Program.  

Delta Fuels, Inc.

Ohio EPA issued an administrative consent order to Delta Fuels, Inc. on March 7, 2011, for past hazardous waste violations at the Delta Fuels Inc. facility located at 1820 Front Street, Toledo, Ohio.  The consent order includes an exemption from the hazardous waste permitting requirements, in accordance with Ohio Revised Code Section 3734.02(G).  The exemption allows Delta Fuels, Inc. to submit a closure plan for several hazardous waste storage and disposal areas at the facility, in lieu of submitting an application for a hazardous waste installation and operation permit.
 

Superior Forge and Steel Corporation

Ohio EPA reached a settlement with Superior Forge and Steel Corporation for past hazardous waste violations and issued an administrative consent order on April 10, 2012. The violations occurred at its facility located at 1820 McClain Road, Lima, Ohio. The settlement includes a $50,000.00 penalty of which $25,000 will be deposited into the state’s hazardous waste cleanup fund. In lieu of paying the remaining $25,000 of the penalty, Superior Forge will receive a $25,000 supplemental environmental project credit for installing a baghouse dust treatment system at the facility.

Ohio EPA reached a settlement with Ashland Inc. (Ashland) for past hazardous waste violations and issued an administrative consent order on March 12, 2012. The violations occurred at various Ashland facilities located in Ohio. The settlement includes a $30,000.00 penalty which will be deposited into the state's hazardous waste cleanup fund.

Lamps, Inc., dba Environmental Recycling, Inc.

Ohio EPA reached a settlement with Lamps, Inc., dba Environmental Recycling, Inc. (Lamps), for past hazardous waste violations and issued an administrative consent order on April 23, 2012.  The violations occurred at the Lamps facility located at 527 East Woodland Circle, Bowling Green, Ohio.  The settlement includes a $30,000.00 penalty of which $24,000.00 will be deposited into the state's hazardous waste cleanup fund.  The remaining $6,000.00 of the penalty will be paid to the Ohio EPA Clean Diesel School Bus Program.

Ohio EPA reached a settlement with Stan and Sherry Burkhart dba Lakeview Woodworking & Finishing for past hazardous waste violations and issued an administrative consent order on March 27, 2012.  The violations occurred at the Lakeview Woodworking facility located at 8848 Cutler Road NE, Sherrodsville, Ohio.  The settlement includes a $1,760.00 penalty which will be deposited into the state's hazardous waste cleanup fund.

Toxco Inc

Ohio EPA reached a settlement with Toxco, Inc., for past hazardous waste violations and issued an administrative consent order on May 8, 2012.  The violations occurred at Toxco’s facility located at 265 Quarry Road, Lancaster, Ohio.  The settlement includes a $4,400.00 penalty which will be deposited into the state's hazardous waste cleanup fund.
