The Division of Environmental Response and Revitalization oversees investigation and cleanup of contaminated sites including federal facilities. We respond to and oversee clean up of emergency releases and spills to the environment. We also provide assistance to companies and communities that clean up and reuse brownfield sites.

Federal Brownfields
Tax Incentive

Private businesses that own and clean up contaminated properties may qualify for a federal income tax deduction on environmental cleanup costs. To qualify, the expenses must be paid or incurred by Dec. 31, 2011.

 

Click here to access information about the Ohio EPA VAP Environmental Insurance Program. This program allows VAP volunteers the ability to obtain Pollution Legal Liability (PLL) Environmental Insurance at a 10% discount off the standard premium cost.
