Hosted by Ohio EPA's Division of Environmental and Financial Assistance (DEFA). The webinar will include a description and demonstration of Ohio EPA’s new Permit Wizard, an online guide to help businesses determine what EPA permits they need. Through a series of progressive and dynamic questions, the Permit Wizard directs users to needed permits and available exemptions and compiles useful web links and local contacts for follow-up. Users can download a copy of their results for further reference. Although primarily geared to those starting a new business, existing businesses will also find the Permit Wizard helpful in evaluating their permitting obligations. Presenter: Rick Carleski, Manager, Division of Environmental and Financial Assistance, Ohio EPA.

Hosted and presented by Ohio EPA's Division of Environmental and Financial Assistance, this webinar will discuss Ohio EPA’s 2016 Recycling and Litter Prevention Grant application process and those activities targeted by this funding option. The content will focus on how the competitive grant programs provide opportunities for local governments, businesses and nonprofit organizations to establish and implement recycling and litter prevention programs, market development for manufacturers, expansion of equipment and processing facilities, and infrastructure improvements leading to processing efficiencies. Examples of organizations who have received funding under these programs will be reviewed to demonstrate the types of activities Ohio EPA funds under this program, and the components of a successful grant application. Final applications for all grant programs are due Feb. 1, 2016. Grant awards will be announced in April 2016, with funding available July 1, 2016. Additional information can be found at recycleohio.gov. We will be using the audio broadcast feature in WebEx to improve the sound quality of the webinar.
