DEFA’s 2016 Program Management and Intended Use Plan (PMIUP)

Public comment for Ohio’s Drinking Water Assistance Fund Draft Program Year 2016 Program Management and Intended Use Plan (PMIUP) closed on July 16, 2015 after a 30-day comment period and two public meetings that were both held on July 16, 2015. The 2016 PMP will go into effect when the agency has completed its final reviews and signatures and will remain in effect through June 30, 2016. The 2016 PMIUP includes the requirements of the Consolidated Appropriations act of 2014 regarding American Iron and Steel, additional subsidies and continuation of the Davis-Bacon Act Wage Requirements. Also included are updates to the principal forgiveness subsidy program, project planning submittal requirements for nominations, the screening of applicants for overall capability to own, manage and operate their systems, the prioritization of funding for auxiliary power and the continuation of funding of projects that address harmful algal blooms.
