AirOhio web pages are part of a large air quality monitoring network that is operated and maintained by the State of Ohio, and Local Air Agencies in Ohio. Air Quality information contained in our various automatically updated reports listed below are retrieved from a network of ambient air monitors consisting of sites located throughout the state, each of which has instruments to measure air quality/meteorological parameters 24 hours a day (ie., Carbon Monoxide, Sulfur Dioxide,Ozone, Nitric Oxides, Wind speed and direction).

Note: Data in these reports are always referenced to Eastern Standard Time (EST). Air Quality Index reports are updated several times during a day at 15 minutes past the hour (8A.M. - 10 P.M. EDT)
