About DDAGW

The Division of Drinking and Ground Waters ensures compliance with the federal Safe Drinking Water Act and evaluates potential threats to source waters that supply Ohio’s more than 5,000 public drinking water systems. The division has a lead role for statewide ground water protection in cooperation with other state and federal agencies, implements a ground water quality monitoring program, and provides technical assistance to the agency's waste management divisions.

Online and Classroom Training Available

DDAGW's electronic Drinking Water Reporting (eDWR) application is now available. eDWR is replacing the DRINKware program for reporting drinking water data. This new reporting system is entirely web-based and accessible via any internet connection. Public water systems can use eDWR to report their monthly operational data (MORs) and laboratories can report chemical and microbiological sample results over the internet. General information and how to get started with an account, pin and association is available on the reporting web page.  Additionally, Ohio EPA is currently offering online training for certified laborotories reporting microbiological results and classroom training for commercial laboratoriesAdditional training dates will be scheduled soon for public water systems submitting MORs.
